PRE-K PREP PROGRAM
WHY THE PRE-K PROGRAM?
The “PRE-K PREP” Program is focused on developing foundational skills through experiential, inquiry, and outdoor education.
This program will surely have your child ready to tackle school!
Children receive the benefits of emergent, inquiry, and experiential learning in our highly dynamic and multifaceted environment. This program targets the development of early literacy & numeracy skills, while also incorporating arts, STE(A)M, and environmental education. Your child will be immersed in a wealth of unique learning opportunities using an approach that is exploratory, fun, and unhurried.
Children in the Pre-K Program will enjoy our 100 acre property to explore environmental science, nature based math and art, as well as to draw connections to seasonal literacy activities. Our schoolhouse is also used daily to support targeted instruction in all areas of learning (ex. story-time read alouds, letter recognition activities, STEM building challenges) as well as to build upon ideas and content from outdoor activities.
